River View Mini Golf
Meet Stanley, River View’s frog mascot as a costumed character! Participate in 10 untimed, family-friendly physical and puzzle challenges placed strategically throughout the Pottawatomie Park. Those who complete at least seven challenges will be awarded a goodie bag with treats, two 18-hole rounds minigolf and two complimentary guest passes to Swanson Pool. Those who play minigolf that night will also get a free frozen treat as part of the Putt-n-Save Family Night special.

FEATURES: For 20 years, the juried Geneva Arts Fair has risen in attendance and notoriety. The fine arts show showcases over 155 fine artisans from around the country in a host of mediums from 10 am-5 pm. Historic downtown Geneva serves as a picturesque backdrop for the outdoor fine arts show on Third Street in Geneva.

Geneva restaurants create an array of specialties under an outdoor tent at the “Flavor Fare” partnered with wine and live musical entertainment. An arts and crafts show, horse-drawn carriage rides and several exceptional wine tasting and dinner events also take place around the historic downtown.

CLASSIC CAR SHOW

FEATURES: Step back in time and join us on Thursday evenings from 5-8 pm during July and August at the historic Kane County Courthouse as car collectors gather together to show off their rides. The audience comes from near and far to enjoy great music and food while they ogle the beauties and vote for their favorite make and model. Please Note: The Chamber will decide by 3 p.m. on the day of the show to cancel the car show in the case of questionable weather conditions. FEATURES: St. Charles Jazz Weekend is a four-day event that coordinates and promotes live jazz music in different downtown establishments. An array of downtown St. Charles venues will take part. FEATURES: The Sandwich Fair, first started as an annual livestock show in DeKalb County. Held yearly, Wednesday–Sunday after Labor Day since 1888, it is one of the oldest continuing county fairs in the state of Illinois. Large crowds stroll throughout the beautiful tree lined grounds, all five days of the fair, which has something of interest for everyone.

FEATURES: Like usual, the almighty strawberry is the star attraction at Strawberry Fest. Some of the area’s most popular restaurants, chefs, and vendors will pop-up shop to serve unique strawberry-centric cuisine. Featured items usually include things like strawberry BBQ sauces, deep fried strawberries on a stick, chocolate strawberry popcorn, strawberry kabobs, strawberry jams, strawberry fudge, funnel cakes with strawberries, strawberry smoothies, strawberry blintz, strawberry banana Nutella crepes, chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry donuts, strawberry shakes, strawberry ice cream, chocolate strawberry sundaes, and much more. A wide variety of non-strawberry-centric vendors will also be on-hand also dishing out other summertime delights. For those who like to mix it up, Strawberry Fest includes live music and family entertainment. For the 54th year, the Festival of the Arts will be returning to picturesque Lake Ellyn. This Fine Art show serves as a destination event bringing thousands of visitors from the Chicagoland area to Lake Ellyn. Our Festival has expanded to include Fiber artists and Folk music. We love the combination of talent and the increase in activity that it cultivates. We added this element in 2022 and found it to not only increase the amount of visitors to the show but also to extend the length of their visit. You should expect visitors to come and spend the day browsing the booths, knitting by the lake, listening to the live music, and wandering into downtown Glen Ellyn to explore and enjoy a sit down meal.

Bigger and better than ever! More ribs, beer and music! The Fest will be held August 26 from 5 pm to 11 pm downtown Sycamore on Elm Street and City Lot 1 & 2. RR&B Fest consists of award-winning rib vendors from across the region, craft beer, and crowd-pleasing musical entertainment from headliner, Back Country Roads.
Guests can raise their glasses and sip craft beer! Please stay tuned as we announce this years craft beer line-up. Delicious ribs and side dishes will be served up by multiple vendors and compete for the title of RR&B Fest Champion.
Back Country Roads have played at events such as Country Thunder and opened for national acts such as Phil Vassar, Darryl Worley, David Lee Murphy, Neal McCoy, Steel Magnolia, Keith Anderson and Easton Corbin. They play mostly current Top 40 Country hits, with a few older selections and some originals in the mix as well. DJ Kris from Behind the Beats will be playing from 7;30 to 9 p.m.

FEATURES: The City of Elgin is excited to celebrate the Fourth of July with a parade, concert and fireworks, all occuring on Monday, July 4th, 2022. This year's theme is "There is No Place Like Home". The parade will kick off at 9a.m. on Slade and Douglas street, and end in front of Elgin City Hall. It will feature various forms of entertainment to enjoy. Food trucks suited for various tastes will be parked on Grove street (adjacent to Festival Park) starting at 4:00 PM. The concert will occur at Festival Park (132 S Grove Ave, Elgin, IL 60120) and begin at 7PM. Viewers will enjoy musical entertainment provided by The Modern Day Romeos. This all-day event will end with a vibrant fireworks show beginning at approximately 9:20 PM.
