DESCRIPTION: Students entering grades 1-5 in the fall of 2023 are invited to join us this summer for Twists and Turns, where we’ll play our way through VBS while learning that Jesus guides us through all the twists and turns of our lives. DESCRIPTION: Our program this year will be Mission: Deep Sea. A crew of deep sea explorers from the Sea Exploration Agency are on a mission to explore the deepest depths of the ocean, in search of knowledge about its Creator — and you’re invited too, as a SEA agent in training! As our crew travels deeper and deeper below the surface, experience the wonders of creation, face a few challenges, and discover that knowing our Creator doesn’t require a special badge or a submarine. Our faith grows deeper when we spend time with God, spend time with others, use our gifts to serve, and share our stories of faith.

DESCRIPTION: This year's theme for Kindergarten through 3rd graders is Monumental - Celebrating God's Greatness. Class placement is based on upcoming grade levels. 4th graders and up can be helpers/assistants at the different stations. VBS Sing and Play is also available for preschoolers accompanied with a parent or guardian either from 9:00-10:00 AM or 10:30-11:30 AM. And exclusively for 4-5th graders, we are offering a Bible Camp in the evening Monday through Thursday. There will be Bible study, games, and other activities just for them. Register online TODAY!

Each summer we host a VBS open to ages 3yrs – 8th grade, free for members and non-members alike. Unlike larger church venues, our VBS offers a more personalized touch to your child’s spiritual well being. With smaller classes, our teachers are able to field more individualized questions, foster discussion, and give hands on help at craft time. Plus, no waiting in long lines for your snack!
Our VBS dates usually fall on the last full week in July. Please drop us an email (ascensionbatavia@gmail.com) if you are interested in an early “save-the-date” postcard. Otherwise check back this Spring for dates and registration.
